In a world slowly being choked by plastic, Camilla International brings forth a breath of fresh air, in the form of ?EARTHBAGS? made of Jute, Jute blends, and Cotton Canvas. The birth of Camilla International took place in the year 1995. The company committed itself to Mother Nature with an Objective to manufacture and export bags made out of Jute.

The main raw material was chosen as Jute to exploit the locational advantage of the company. Jute is a natural versatile fibre, biodegradable and environment friendly, mainly grown in this part of the world, giving an edge towards regular availability and pricing. Calcutta becomes the hub for all jute related products and caters not only to the requirements of the entire world but also to the other Indian states as well.

Jute the Natural golden Fibre has traditionally been used for packaging. It is a fibre with a silky lustre, high tensile strength, low extensibility and natural resistance to fire and heat. However the versatility of this Biodegradable and environment friendly fibre comes to light as the world looks on for natural options to save the environment. The application of Jute depends totally on mind?s creativity.

The company started making customised bags and selling to exporters all over India to gain the experience and access the acceptability of the products and prices. After successfully selling these bags to the Merchant Exporters for two years and making profit from the very first year of operations Camilla International started exploring on its own by participating in their first International Trade show at Barcelona, Spain. Since then they had been doing various trade shows allover the world with just no looking back with ?Earthbags?.

These ?Earthbags? are entirely hand crafted and play a very important role in the exports of the Handicrafts sector of India. The company is geared to handle any custom made style to suite all requirements and pockets. The current production capacity of about 1, 00, 000 units per month, which is about 4-5 containers is being enhanced shortly to cater the future growth prospects.
