Application method :
HIACRYLIC-55 is a low viscosity emulsion whereas HIACRYLIC-60 has moderate viscosity. The best coating system is the Mayer Bar Coating method, however other conventional coating methods can also be used to get the desired results.
Additives :
For increasing viscosity and rheology control, conventional acrylic thickeners are recommended. For improving wetting property, viscosity stability and mechanical stability, Triton grades of surfactants are recommended.
Storage & Stability :
HIACRYLIC should be essentially stored in an airtight container in a cool and well-ventilated place away from external sources of heat and light. Before use, HIACRYLIC material should be stirred for obtaining better performance.
Packing :
HIACRYLIC-55 & HIACRYLIC-60 are available in 215 Kgs. Net HDPE drums.
Product Applications :
Micro Inks Limited offers two grades of thermoplastic acrylic emulsions viz HIACRYLIC-55 & HIACRYLIC-60 for formulation of solvent free pressure sensitive adhesives. HIACRYLIC emulsions offer high tack and excellent adhesion to polyolefins, vinyls & metals. HIACRYLIC offers excellent weather resistance and are Colorless and no yellowing. The outstanding properties of HIACRYLIC emulsions make them well suited for a variety of adhesive applications such as, industrial and packaging tapes made with Polyolefin films, Polyester, Foil, Paper, Tapes and are also used in floor and wall covering. HIACRYLIC are recommended for permanent pressure sensitive applications.
